Design Features of the Balancing Machine
• Balancing accuracy: 0.4 gmm/kg
• Self-aligning bearing parts with cylindrical hardened rollers prevent marks on low-hardness rotor journals
• Lever suspender with low natural frequency ensures high precision
• Two roller diameters per cartridge reduce interferences at journal-roller diameter matches
• Adjustable roller supports enable balancing of symmetric and asymmetric journals
• Suspension locking during acceleration/braking allows balancing of heavily imbalanced wheelsets
• Axial drive via articulated adapter mounted to axle end
• Spindle bed simplifies wheelset mounting/removal
• Jacks ensure smooth and safe wheelset handling, protecting mechanisms
• No special foundation required – installation directly on workshop floor
• Variable frequency asynchronous drive for stepless speed control during operation
• Imbalance measured relative to axis through wheel center circles
- 25-second measurement cycle
- Real-time measurement display
- Measures imbalance relative to wheel rolling circles and rotation axis
- Touchscreen interface with fanless industrial PC
- Three-start calibration method using reference rotors
- Real-time visualization of imbalance
- USB, LAN, and Ethernet connectivity
- Automatic averaging for unstable signals
- Eccentricity compensation and vector diagram analysis
- Automatic start/stop in balancing mode
Balancing System Advantages
• Industrial fanless computer with touchscreen and measurement module
• Calibration by operator using three-start method with known unbalanced rotors
• No need for annual paid calibration services
• Calculates allowable unbalance values even without product documentation
• Recommends control weight sizes for easier control
• Real-time visual feedback reveals defects or disturbances immediately
• Displays imbalance in grams, gmm, gcm, gmm/kg, Dadd
• Corrects for eccentricity of balancing mandrel
• Splits imbalance into multiple correction planes
• Allows placement of corrective weights at structurally predefined points
• Generates and prints balancing reports
• USB and Ethernet ports for connectivity and external devices
